Thalassa Cruso

The cultivation of trees is the cultivation of the good,

J. Sterling Morton

Sandra Postel and Lori Heise

Acts of creation are ordinarily reserved for gods and poets.
To plant a pine, one need only own a shovel.

Aldo Leopold

What we are doing to the forests of the world is but a mirror reflection of what we are doing to ourselves and to one another.
Gandhi

The best friend of earth of man is the tree. When we use the tree respectfully and economically, we have one of the greatest resources on the earth.
Frank Lloyd Wright

Trees make us sing and dance, make faces and give flower bouquets, trying to be loved.  Have you ever noticed that trees do everything

Alice Walker
